Unit Control

How could I make a player have control of only one of his units, and only be able to control the others through text commands? I know how to set the text commands up.....but I cannot figure out how to give a player command of only one unit. I also need to be able to do this withour JASS or using AI players.

Anyone who even responds to this gets rep, whether it works or not.

Give it to a computer player, then issue the commands from there.
If you use

• Unit - Change Unit Ownership

You can also make the unit retain its teamcolor, so it would seem as if it was controlled by that player.
This will only work if you have at least 1 computer slot/team.

You could add the locust ability to all the units you don't want the play to control and then later on remove it. Locust makes it so that you can't select the unit (like in locust swarm you can't select the locusts)
