Its part of my alternative lore universe Afterstorm.
These trolls are actually Amani trolls who were in Draenor in the times of Invasion of Draenor, and got stuck there when the Dark Portal was closed. Although almost all forest trolls have died, the remains of forest troll tribes formed Mossspear tribe and have hidden in Zangarmarsh, away from strong Alliance and vengefull orcs. Now they strife to survive in the swamp, hiding from everyone.

Well, some trolls were in Draenor in the Second War, so when Draenor was destroyed, or in Afterstorm locked from Azeroth, they were stuck. Many of them died in battles with Alliance, many died when the world almost died because of the gateways. The rest understoof that orcs would bring them to extinction in their bloodlust. So they ran in Zangarmarsh. They have hidden there because understood that orcs would kill them for their betrayal. There was no place for them in Terokkar. However soon they felt pretty comfottable in the swamps. Thanks to their wise shaman they soon returned to shamanism, and became intelligent and more peaceful. Well, as much as a forest troll can be. There are only 30-40 of them left. So they united into one tribe. Now they are neutral.

Well, those are giant tree mushrooms, and the little ones are eatable mushrooms.
