My loading screen takes forever - how to balance it?

Hi! on my map there are planty of triggers and planty of new models that I added, my question is, since its not in game delay but prolonged loading time, what is the best way to make it faster? get rid of models or triggers? thanks.

There are 2 tools you can use to optimize your map:
Map Optimizer (download from wc3c.net)
and http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/widgetizer-1-3-0-9-a-62920/

Widgetizer is better for decreasing loading time, and Optimizer is better for decreasing map size, but IIRC both used together would be ideal.

Remember to backup your map before using it, since using these tools will also make your map uneditable.

Used both, the delay remain at 2 minutes to load the map, back to my question: what is more causing delay in map loading - triggers OR ImprotedModels ?? !?

Triggers/data.

AFAIK imports have no significant affect of map load time.

One common culprit I can point out: high ability and upgrade levels. E.g. an ability with 50 levels or an upgrade with 100. They take ages to load, you should replace it with one "level" and have a different system for improving it.
