So, hi.

I am currently somewhat at work making a terrain template map
heavily inspired by the art direction of Ori and the Blind Forest, if
you haven't played the game a quick google search will show how
it looks. This is the terrain so far.

If anyone wants to help me make this terrain better, or simply help
making it look closer to the original, then you are most welcome to
do so, and you will certainly be credited in the final map. I've
attached three "resource" images released by Moon Studios that
shows some general ideas, although there is one particular doodad
I am most in want of. Which is the half arch ones in the upper right
corner of the first image. Not necessarily in all the different
variations, but at least some.

Any help at all, really, would be much reppreciated.

Hm, isn't this the wrong section ?

Do you mean modeling using the pictures as actual texture or trying to re-create them as near as possible ?

These are, overall, more or less simple models, I can create some for you.

However, the choice of the texture is very important in this progress.
I can use the images you link for them, this would allow a fast progress,
but there is the danger that they don't look good, as they have 'pre-built light' ( reflections for example). Using in-game textures will be a bit more complicated and will slow down the progress.

Also, does file-size is important ? If I/we don't have to take that in count, tit is surely an advantage.

File size is not important at all, quality over quantity any day, I say.

This map isn't meant to be used for gameplay purposes, even though it's
made in a "gameplay" sort of way.

About the textures, I don't know, you could try using these, I'll leave it to
you :)
