This is my 3 of 12 professional projects. This project started in 2005.

This map is cool, but currently its in the Beta stage, say 65%

My Objectives:
I'm going to turn this map into the greatest Real-Life simulation map, and the most realistic also, and it should reflect the aspects of reality. For that trial to be faced, I have to work 24/7, everyday (except 1st year highschool classes), to make the map. No offense but I just want my maps to be neat, clean and decent as possible..

I also created this map from scratch, that means no copied layout. It's hard but it's fun..

the amazing thing about this map is because it runs fast!! I've tested this map in a laptop with 32mb memory but it's still fast, and even fast throughout the game, the reason because it has 0 memory leaks!! and it's bugless too..

Map Info:
Play a game of Life in a City (Acronym L.i.a.C.), where you'll simulate life in the suburbs and the outskirts of the city. This map allows you to select up to 12 characters, characters that are semi-real and real and no fictional content (although models are fictional)

But young characters can't employ cerain jobs.

Before you Read: I have customized the Help and Tips dialogs. Those dialogs NOW contain L.i.a.C.-only information for newbies. Be sure to check out the tutorials section in TH.net next month because I'll be releasing a tutorial in editing those dialogs.

This game has no Win or Defeat condition, because it's a real-life simulator. You will also expect an unskippable short loading cinematic in the start (say 6 seconds). The cinematic will give the map time to preload all of it's files and to do the map init stuff, so that the game will be lagless by players.

Features:
- It has a Banlist where bad people are listed (Don't worry, i don't banlist Hive, TH.net, and Wc3c members.. at all, only people who randomly do illegal stuff)
- There are no memory leaks, that means all local variables are nulled, and that means more than 75 Temporary variables (global and local) and almost all of them are arrays.
- Has a custom game interface, custom console and custom Help and Tips dialogs.
- Has an Advanced Multiboard created by me, it tallies the current Job employed, current money and player name.
- Order Id's are used and refrained the orderstring usage.
- More than 50 jobs you can apply, each job has different income. There is also a special job called 'Superstar'. You will sing a random song the game chooses. (your character sings)
- Has an imported .mp3 file called Rage Against the Machine - Gurellia Radio (this can change with prior notice to me)
- Has an Ally/Unally system (more info below)
- Has a Lottery System
a) 2 Digit Lottery
b) 4 digit lottery
c) Megalotto Lottery
To bet, enter a beacon in the Lottery Outlet and type the numbers.
To bet, type numbers and separate them with commas:
- Has a DotA recipe system (thanks to Rheias in TheHelper.net!!)
- Has a bugless, leakless Bank System created by me in scratch.
- Also has a 'Road Traffic' system where cars are running in the roads, to capture the essence of an urban city. It's also bugless and leakless.
- You can buy more than 10 houses.
- Has an Advertisement system made by me from scratch.
Advertisements are 'Special' transmissions that contain special info, such as new products, etc.
NOTE: To see advertisements, buy a TV, if you have installed a TV you can see Special transmissions or Advertisements (cool)

Systems Information

1) Lottery System
Lucky Stars Lottery is the best lottery company around the city. To bet, enter a circle or a beacon particular to the game you want to bet. To bet numbers, make sure you separate them with commas. Don't use the spacebar!!

The numbers can come in Any Order so it will be fair to all players.

For numbers less than 10, type a Zero (0) before that number, like 01.
This is an example of a bet for each game:
02,20
06,23,06,30
05,45,23,04,13

Game Info:
2-Digit Lottery - You can bet only numbers up to 20.
Prize for winning is $3000

4-Digit Lottery - You can bet numbers up to 30
Prize - $8000

Megalotto Lottery - You can bet up 45 numbers and 6 digits
Prize - Minimum is $250,000
Maximum is $600,000
If no one wins, then $10,000 will be added to the prize each time.

Also, if a player has stepped into a beacon to bet, and another player steps into a beacon the same as above, the second player will be restricted to bet until the betting player is done.

2) Bank System/ Banking
You can come to the bank and you can deposit or withdraw your money to safekeep it.

When you step to a beacon inside the bank, a dialog will appear. It shows up buttons which amount you want to withdraw or deposit.

Minimum Withdraw/Deposit amount is $5000. If you have less than that, you will be restricted from withdrawing or depositing.

Maximum withdraw/deposit amount is $50,000

Also, if a player has stepped into a beacon to withdraw or deposit, and another player steps into a beacon the same as above, the second player will be restricted to withdraw/deposit until the withdrawing/depositing player is done.

3) Ally/Unally System

This system allows any user player to Unally or to Re-ally another user player for added fun and tweaked gameplay.

To ally, type 'ally' then the Player Color of the player whom you're going to ally
Example: ally purple

To unally, type 'unally' then the Player Color of the player whom you're going to unally
Example: unally orange

TIP: If you unally a player, that player will become your enemy. Also if you unally that player, the unallied player is also going to consider you an enemy. This concept is the same as the Ally System, where allying your player will make each player become friends to each other.

4) Recipe System
Well, you know this already. It's similar to DotA. Thanks to Rheias for this system.

Recipe Systems apply to special items such as Ironworks, woodworks, Special Meals, special weapons and special drugs (when you work for the mob).

5) Road Traffic System
It's just a system where it will create vehicles with a random color. Those vehicles run in almost every road but don't be fooled by the same.. It has no memory leaks and it's almost no lag. Death regions are at the exit points of the city, do don't worry about vehicles jamming in a particular place.

This system also reflects the concept of TD's where creeps move in one place to another.

6) Special Features
- 0 memory Leaks and virtually no bugs.

That's all. FAQ are below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the map Protected?
Yes. I do protect my maps. But If you want some triggers e-mail me and I'll send them to you.

Is the map lagless throughout the game?
Yes. Advanced triggering and determination made me do this. Because the thing I hate most about maps is Lag.

Did anyone help you out during the making of this map
No. I've created it alone.

Does this map contain pornographic elements??
Absolutely no..

Have fun. But you have to follow some rules. Do not spam in this thread and don't make flaming against this thread.

Don't worry, this map will follow every rule in the map rules section to guarantee the maximum fun and excitement for players!!

Some Notices

There is a person named Farrownarr. He has released a Fake version of this map in Epicwar.com since I released the first Beta version.

The name of this map is Life in a Manor City..

He claimed it as his own and NEVER gave me original credit.

Please contact me if you get in touch with this person, and if you have his map just delee it!! Download my v3.32 map in TH.net project Ultima thread in the Members Projects section to prevent becoming a victim of their henious actions!!

Wow. Sounds like you really try. Most map makers would settle for glitchy triggers and a few memory leaks. I'm impressed that you could do something this large scale without memory leaks. Sounds efficient.

I'll make sure to check it out sometime.
