Jass Newgen help

Whenever i try to test a map in jass newgen with even a single custom script line of jass it just goes to the main screen. I'm using jassnewgen 5d with reinventing the craft off. When i enable jasshelper and try to save it, jasshelper freezes and i have to close it when it says Found bugs please wait... Please help i will +rep

What OS are you using?
Are you using the latest JassHelper?

I have seen this problem before, if updating JassHelper doesn't work you can only compile your map when you don't have script errors. So try to not mess up when you code.

I guess you can try running NewGen in XP Compatibility mode (which can be found by right clicking the NewGen shortcut).

I have the same problem. I havent tried to run in XP compat but will try.
