This tutorial was created in this section due to the fact that i do not have access to the 2d art tutorial page, please for give me for that, and enjoy this simple but FREE tutorial[/hidden

1.If u have something like a model that you need an icon for, and you cant find one or dont want to make one Take a screenshot of the model in either World editor, or ingame then open pain and press Ctrl+V

2. cut off the undesirable parts like the toolbar or palette.
3.scale the size of the wanted part down and click image>attributes and scale the entire image down to 64X64 pr 48X48
4.save as 24bit bitmap
download W3IR and (with multiple folders) make the bmps into bmps with borders, then it is the same as other icon tutorials.

Or you can just open the model/model with new texture in the Viewer and take a Snapshot. CnP the desired area and scale it down to 64x64. Put on the appropriate borders and you're done. Simple as that. For those of you who don't know how to replace a texture in the viewer it shows in my tutorial.

Also, this should go in the Tutorial Submission forum.
