Catch the building and destruction of Tents, increase/decrease an integer variable of the owner of the Tent, make a periodic event/timer that iterates over all players and adds them their integer value.
I did not think Trolls or Elves used "Gold Collector Tents". I would imagine Trolls shared the same gather system as Orcs and Elves appeared to share the same as Humans in the campaign.
If you are referring to a specific map please link it. We are not physic and cannot possibly know about 1 small part of 1 random map out of the tens of thousands of maps that have been made.
To emphasise the above solution. Basically you are periodically adding an income variable to each player. This variable is incremented appropriately when buildings are built or upgraded and decremented appropriately on death or when upgrade starts. You need a system to handle upgrade cancelation as well but that can be tagged along with construction. Data feeding it from parallel arrays is by far the most scalable and maintainable approach.
Nevermind... I think the Resource Generator System are fine.... just add more configurable then enough already....
But I have just changed the idea of my new map.... xD so I maybe no need to use the collector...
Maybe another game will use this, anyway thanks for trying to help
