You do NOT want to do that :p
Operating Systems can affect your processor speeds.
Android might not support Hyper-threading. It might recognize only 1 core for 1 processor, so you could be reducing your computer's performance by 50%-75% (Depends on how many cores/processors you have)

You should read about the OS in detail before installing it (If that's possible xD)

Hyperthreading is what allows computers to do multiple tasks at once.
Warcraft III could be much faster if it supported Multiple threads ;p

Hyperthreading allows 2 threads per core.


... Simultaneous Multi-Threading can be done with any operating system that recognizes multiple processors; and how do you know he has a processor with SMT? The only commercial processors with it are mid-high end new Intel's and old Prescott Pentium 4's. :/

And it's not "50% more performance trolololol" A single core can still only do so much load, processors with SMT are still only doing one threadpiece per cycle, just that the next cycle might be a piece from another thread.
