To get myself up and running with JASS, I simply just went ahead and did it. I created GUI triggers and converted them to JASS and I played around with them. I made lots of mistakes along the way and I learned from them. To learn JASS, you must first get rid of your fear, and simply do JASS~
I'm not 100% sure about this, but I'm leaning more towards Yes. You need Windows to program vJASS. There is probably some weird binary out there that works on Mac, but I'm not sure about other Linux environments. pJASS is written in C and JASSHelper is written in Delphi or Pascal or something. I can't seem to recall exactly what language. You can use JASS on any Operating System that Warcraft III supports though~
Rofl, if you scare newbies, sooner or later a program without a community is bound to be dead!
Who is Khun btw (Sounds like someone wise)? Omg, did you cheat on me! :O
well, I can handle the basic triggering, but I can't do more advanced stuff... I've got a school mate who I've asked for help already, but as he isn't used to the triggers system, I might need some help, yes...
