Triggering competition

I was thinking maybe a competition to make the best most elaborate trigger.
(I thought of this because of the retarded gold distribution in dota, they should make it that the person who dealt the most damage should get kill, not the last hit)

For Dota, they should do actual dmg dealt, and balance costs accordingly, + bonus for overkill (using your ulti w/ 64hp left )


Anyways, they have trigger competitions already, you gotta make it more specific than just a big elaborate mother of a trigger

It takes no skill at all to just auto attack when creeping, but you need skill to last hit / deny creeps. Imo the "retarded" here is you. Hmm, maybe they should make -rm (retard mode) where you could get money by that :O, it could help noobs to get money. Oh :D there is already -em where you get money pretty fast overtime.

EDIT: Heh, sorry for that, but people like him are making the dota even more newbie friendly... Soon everything will be automated.

Lol? Whats so skilled about kill stealing? The damage idea is a nice one so players dont have to be afraid to use their most powerful spell before the mob is 15% hp...

I think he's talking about when you go onto the enemies side and deny them their creeps.

This thread was ment for things like killing enemy players, which is extremely queer when somebody else steals it (that's why they have assists in DoE)

There is assists also in dota, but you wont get money from assisting.
And killstealing is part of the game, expecially in publics. Nothing was funnier than to 1-hit steal your friends kill in dota ^^

Yeah, there is also teammate denying too, killing them before the enemies finish charging their ulti (kinda rare, but happens)

It's funny, sometimes I ferget DotA is just a game, no need to get into gigantic flame wars with ppl about it

You can't teamkill in dota.

Also, what does dota have to do with this contest?

The start of the thread really had nothing to do with anything, so we had to work with what was given, the bit about dota

Dont say such a stupid things if you know nothing about dota. Of course you can teamkill in dota. For example with Bane Elementals sleep, or when your mate is shadow striked.

This seems like a good idea, the only problem is that a GUI programmer will not stand a chance against a good Jass Programmer. Well, technically I suppose there's a chance, but an expert Jass Programmer could win. Of course, that's why it's a competition.
