"Warsmash": The project to create Magos Reforged that no one wanted.
[Edit: Sorry, Ghostwolf. Yes, I invented nothing! I just spent a couple of hours copying your code last week.]
no it was created by accident. Warsmash is a game engine thing getting made via the hive workshop's 3d model viewer ("View in 3D" button in model download section). Because of that, it's just a couple of function calls to the existing viewer to display Wc3 models. It is as though I did not even write this; I just copied it from the Hive viewer open source repo into Warsmash. I was trying to make it that I could play the game with reforged models, but later I realized that my viewer toy thing inherited the same code changes and shaders so it could also preview reforged models to a limited extent.

I'm working on a version of retera model studio with a copy of the same shaders, so maybe you could use that later if you want. But it's basically not even necessary, i think most people who need out of game preview just use the hive viewer. The official site version is out of date and doesn't look like this, but it will look like this if you use Sanity Test

here's an example of what I was actually intending to do (I literally just spent 2-3 hours copying Hive's code into Warsmash engine):
