Altered Melee mod of cartoonish modern warfare and questionable taste. Across mountains and oceans, through icy tundras and steamy rainforests, territories must be explored, cities rebuild, outrageous mutants and primordial beasts cleared out of cabbage patches, natural disasters survived, invaders pushed back - or unruly locals persuaded to, let's say, broaden their horizons. There is so far to go, and your legs are so short.

New supply system, first 256x256 map, and Questions

So in this update, besides adding a few more things, I changed the mana supply system.

1) I always wanted the logistics to be a challenge and make things more immersive, but also not ruin the flow of the game. By replacing the somewhat buggy "Spirit Touch" based mechanic that would often decide to exclude units seemingly at random (even though they were part of the allowed targets, and would sometimes work) with the more modest brilliance aura, I am hoping to produce a better balance.

2) Perhaps more interesting, I also finally made a reduced map that's only 256x256 and 12 players, hoping that it will work on older versions of warcraft. Obviously feedback needed, if it works, or if there is something else left in the map that prevents it from being playable in older versions. Maps as always in the attachments, and 50/50 chance if they show up for you.

3) Finally, asking those who already played it:

While I invite feedback in general, what I specifically like to know is, did the map crash for you? That's an age old thing I try to figure out about this project, if the crashes only happen on my end or if they are something linked to the map itself. People who played earlier versions said they didn't get crashes.

Linked to that, did you experience lag?
