Legacy of the Dwarves
Hello followers! Welcome to the first Development Update. Here I'll be gradually sharing what I'm doing on the campaign project so everyone can stay informed.
In this first post, I want to let you know that the development of mission 4 is entering its final stages. It will be a dungeon crawler-style mission where Magni, Gelbin, and Brother Sarno venture into the heart of Gnomeregan to try and solve its problems. Similar to the Dungeon in WoW, we'll face several iconic bosses, including the Mekgineer Thermaplugg. There will be several interesting things and references, as always. I'll leave some images so you can see how it's coming along.
Regarding missions 1 and 2, the first one underwent significant changes. You will no longer build a base; the entire concept of understanding the dwarven tech tree is now covered in mission 2. The first mission is more focused on exploration, combat, and RPG elements. A new side quest and more dialogue have also been added. The second mission has changes to AI timings, tutorials, and exploration space. Mission 3 has also been updated; you now have more time to view the map, explore, and not just focus on defending your base.
Lady Katrana Prestor's model has been updated to one from WoW Classic, but it remains a placeholder model, as I would like to have as many models as possible in HD.
