Well, this is my second project that I've started. It's an altered melee, but i havent finished it. It draws heavily from Warhammer 40,000 better known as wh40k and Dawn of War, but it also has Warcraft III and Medieval touches to it.
Overview

The game is about two factions, the Empire and Chaos.
The Empire is basically a dominant Human, well, Empire.
Chaos are being that have been spawned from the Warp, but it also contains Undead.
YOU CANNOT CHOOSE YOUR RACE. It is a preset 3v3 Empire vs Chaos map.
Objectives

For both sides, you can achieve victory by capturing and holding for 5 minutes all the Strategic Points. (This is extremely hard to do since some of the strategic points are right next to a players base.)
Alternatively, you can wipe your enemies to achieve victory.
Pros/Cons

Pros for Empire

-Has a good starting unit, the Imperial Stormtrooper.
-Has various specialized units, such as Captains, Zealots, and Pikemen
-The Chaplain spellcaster is a powerful unit to combat Chaos
-Imperial troops generally have higher armor than Chaos, but there are some exceptions.
Cons for Empire

-Compared to late game Chaos Daemons, Imperial troops are frail and weak.
-It takes a moderate amount of time to create a sizeable army, while Chaos can create self-ressurection Skeletons in a short period of time
Pros for Chaos

-During late game, Chaos can summon powerful spell-immune Daemons that can wreak havoc among any enemy.
-The majority of spells that Chaos has deals damage or a negative effect.
-Has excellent massing units, Skeletal Swordsman and Burning Archer. They both have a Skeletal Horror which decreases nearby enemies attack and move speed. Although weak, they have a 50% of reviving themselves after their initial death. DOES NOT STACK.
-Compared to Empire troops, Chaos are slighlty stronger in health and attack.
Cons for Chaos

-Has a moderate build time.
-Daemons are expensive, and are only worth it if youve got a standing army.

Imperial Archer
Attack Type: Piercing

Damage: 20-20 (max is 23)

Damage: 20-20 (max is 23-26 I believe)

Abilities: Zeal Aura. Increases Attack and Move Speed by 15%

Imperial Captain
Attack Type: Normal
Damage: 20-25 (max is 38)
Attack Speed: 1
Range: Melee
Armor Type: Heavy
Armor: 3 (max is 9)
Health: 600
Abilities: Captains Aura. Increases Attack by 20%

Chaplain
Attack Type: Magic
Damage: 25 (max is 28)
Attack Speed: 1.8
Range: Melee
Armor Type: Small
Armor: 1 (Max is 7)
Health: 400
Mana: 200 (Increased by Chaplain Training)
Abilities:
Heal. Heals for 15 points.
Litany of the Emperor. Reduces enemy attack by 30% *Requires Interrogator Chaplain Training*
Banish Daemon. Deals 400 damage to any Chaos Foe. *Requires Iron Father Training*
I'm still working on Chaos units.

Income

Gold is achieved through capturing Strategic Points. To capture strategic points, simply lower its health to 200. It will automatically heal it self and you will have the Point. It is best to fortify the point or else you will lose it.
For each Strategic point, you will recieve 10 gold. Income periods are every 10 seconds and you can type -income to see your income.
Perils of the Warp

*Not yet implemented*
Every time an Empire spell caster casts a spell, there is a 5% chance that a Moderately strong Daemon will detect the disturbance materialize from the Warp. It will attack anything it sees, both Daemon and Human.

As you can see from the screenshot, the terrain is bare. That start position itself is on a raised cliff/mountain/platuae. You can see part of a Strategic Point to the right, not yet captured.
Starting units for Empire are 4 Stormtroopers and 3 Engineers (Peasants).
Starting units for Chaos have not yet been determined.
The 2nd screenshot are the Pikeman, Zealot, and Archer from left to right.

If you would like to help me with this small project, you can pm me. I would appreciate some suggestions for units/objectives/miscellaneous.
The terrain has barely been touched, ive just created a starting point for red.
