Playable Terrain for a TD

Ok my dear artists,
I'm doing a TD for which I tried (possible fail'd) some terrain to avoid plain-ness.
The screenshots display the current state and I hope to get some suggestions how to improve it ^^
For the background, as it's a TD and the shotangle is a bit out-of-normal, changing it would be somewhat pointless..
Anyway, here the are ^.^

Oh and just for security issues:
I hereby promise that the terrain is made by myself and nothing is based on others' work :p
