Agenda of the Brain: Thoughts of a Mad Man?
I think, therefore I am stoned.

Man’s Best Friend

I wonder what was going through the mind of the first human being to say, “Hey George (or Bob), why don’t we take those wolves home?”. Common sense must have been irrelevant--or totally nonexistent in Homo sapiens at that time. I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that we, as humans, would do such a thing. You could assume that the wolves ate left over’s from nomadic Homo sapiens and that a relation between the two began from there, although it is extremely amusing to think otherwise.

Doing so produces a sort of 90’s horror scene, at least for me, where in the middle of the night two adolescent boys would urge the other to see what kind of beast is feasting on a rotting carcass in the woods. Through peer pressure one would urge the other to go get a closer look and report back. Watching where he would place his footing, he crept closer. The woods were practically silent; holding his breath, the only thing he heard was his own heart beat and it feasting.

Then the sound of a twig breaking would induce a 90’s horror theme, the boy’s heart to pound, and the beast’s head to slightly shift towards the sound. Just then a beam of light would appear out of thin air producing a glint in its eye. Howling, screaming, biting, and then screaming for help would follow.
