In the attached map you will see both the hero glow models from this website. Test the map, change your color to something other than red, and it will still be red in game.
I believe this is because of the color of the unit. hero glow naturally follows the units natural color. Since all them are red the glow will be red. To chance they you can do it in the Unit editor or by triggering it. for trigger wise use this

Yea I figured out that you have to change the unit's color to the color of owning player upon a unit entering a map. The hero glow models run off of the true player color. For example player 2 is always blue according to the hero glow model, even when the player chooses orange.
