Freezing a unit mid animation....

I'm trying to figure out how to pause a unit in mid walk animation, if that is possible.

  • Event - blah blah blah
    • Actions -
    • Animation - Play Mountain King 0017 <gen>'s Walk animation
What goes after it to freeze it in place? Nothing I've tried has worked.

Note that if the unit moves it will still work at normal speed even if animation speed is at 0. This is due to actual walking animation being directly linked to speed and scale. Thus it is impossiable to make a unit look like it is moonwalking or sliding when moving.

Well, when I do "play units walk animation" it just twitches... =/ I haven't even set speed to 0% yet or anything...

Man i think u should Do So: Object Edittor: Change Unit Animmation TIme to 3.0
Trigger Edittor: Unit - Order Move To <gen001>
Wait 1.5 Seconds
Animation - Set Unit Animation Speed 0%
I wanna Know iF it does work Too, But I'm too lazy too try so if it does WORK P.M Me!
