Different servers?

Is anything going to happen using multiple servers or will all games be playable on one server? I wanted to know because I ordered SC2 US version to get the key, and so a friend of mine is going to send it to me, but I live in europe, so I want to know if I would be able to play with my friends or if Id have to get it again for european server.

You'll have to wait for Heart of the Swarm so they implement different server access like in wc3. I also remember that during BETA, you could change servers by changing the files and doing some changes in your profile, but I ain't sure bout' the final version.
