Background Story

a while ago the fortress of Mardenholde was constructed to defend the eastern regions, unfortunately the only town closeby was Androhal which was much to small to meet the needs of the Fortress. this meant that supplies had to be brought in from what is now central Lorderan. this created a boom on the villages and towns on the way to Mardenholde. at the fortress itself, the influx of resources incouraged people to settle, this was the birth of Hearthglen. this is the story of 10 settlers. these settlers became the nobillity of Hearthglen. they are the founders and this is their story.

this is a DEMO of the game. it has all the pieces needed to be playable. i cannot judge weither this game is good or not, so i thought i would see what you think?

this demo only tests the combat system and the village balance. the other main features will be released in the upcoming BETA.

features already implemented:
-market that allows players to gain gold by selling wood.
-building tree
-unit tree
-large scale
-basic story

features currently being implemented

-refining damage and costs on buildings (this is merely fine tuning them for balance)
-adding EXTRA buildings and preparing game for next update.
-trying to formulate a series of long term events that will effect the villages.

features planned for next update:

-basic timeline forming the first years of settlement
-Refining to units and buildings for balance.
-possibly a few random events (barbarian raids)
-each person permanently allies (forces people to find alternative ways to kill teammate and win.)
-income system implemented for early years of colony.

features planned for future updates:

-Androhal as a supply location
-more complete history of Hearthglen
-heroes that may only be purchased during invasions
-openable/closeable gates
-refined income system
-costum techtree
-relatively advanced income system
-cool cinematic at start

HINT build a market as it's you're only method of getting gold at the moment (the reason is that the primary way you achieve gold will change from time to time.)

the only model currently being used is the warewolf model by
-MC ! (i bet you'll have a hard time finding it without cheating!)

note: there's a glitch for the vertical gate and I found a simpler way to make horizontal gates that will be implemented.
