[General] Changing water tinting color for a specific area?

As the title says, is there a way to change the water tinting color for a specific area? The only option I found in GUI changes the water color for the entire map but I just want to change it for a specific regions only and keep the water color as it is for the rest of the map. Is this possible? :/

I think it's like a Global Constant type of thing so probably not. The only way I'd imagine being able to do this is some sort of custom model. Maybe one that's just a layer of tint. Or if skilled enough a model of the water itself.

Maybe you could so some model hoax by adding a plane model (not a flying plane) with 50% transparency and put that on top of the water to tint it.

There is a destructible in the object editor that looks like rising water. Maybe that could be of use? It's a little cumbersome, but could work.
