Acer Remote Control

Hallo Hive

I have a small problem, that I hope some of you guys can help me with, or point me in the right direction.

I have an Acer Aspire Notebook 8930G Laptop with a remote. In the middel of the remote control there is a big green button that open the Media Center program. Now I use another program called XMBC instead of Media Center. So my question is:

Is it possible to recode the remote control button to open up XMBC instead of Media Center?

No

Long Answer:
No, but you can recode the software on the laptop to do so.

Yes I also thought so. But the software is in-built in windows, so I dont really
know where to look. I imagien that I have to change a scirpt somewhere in windows.

Well one of the easiest ways is to simply create a dummy EXE that starts up XMBC and replace the Media Center EXE with it.
