2 vertex editors broken.

I've been living with this for a while, i dont quite remember when it started, but when i open mdlvis or vertex modify, i can only do a certain amount of things, such as vertex changing or even in melvis's case, changing the view, until it freezes or just closes completely.

i have to end task in task manager to close it, as it's usually frozen beyond fixing.

and vertex modify will do the same, but just close without an error message.

Does anyone else have these problems, and have an answer to how i could fix them?
