Spell Descriptions:
Bloody Run:
Your unit will run so fast to the selected point that all units who are in the
near of your unit get damage.

Boomerang:
You throw two boomerangs at the selected area. Every boomerang missile make just one time damage.
So if you hit a unit with both boomerangs the unit will get two times damage!

Critical Jump:
Your unit jump at the selected area and give all enemy units who are in the near damage.

Crush:
With each hit your unit has the chance to knockback the attacked unit.

Electrical Field:
Throws several electro bolts at the selected area.
Each bolt deals damage upon contact with enemy units.

Fire Bombs:
Throws several fire bombs at the selected area.
Each firebombs deals damage upon contact with enemy units.

Frost Sphere:
Summons a powerful frost sphere which moves towards your selected target.
While travelling to the target it shots frost shards around itselfs that damage enemy units!|

Implosion:
Hurling a mystical force at the target unit. Infests it and deals moderate damage to it over time.
At the end of the effect the mystical force implodes and inflicts damage to surrounding enemy units.

Mystic Net:
Throws a rope to the selected point and drags the first unit in its way back to you your caster.
The target will also get hurt upon impact with the ground.

Dark Torture:
Make the targeted unit bigger and bigger and because of the hard deformation of the
body the unit get every second some damage.

Burrowstrike:
Your unit burrows himself to the ground, accelerating towards to his target. Upon concact the throws his victim up in the air dealing some damage, upon impact with the ground all nearby enemy units are being damaged and slowed.

Paralyzing Field:
Your unit channels a paralyzing field, slowing all enemy foes in it until they freeze, releasing them after some seconds channeling time.

Holy Shock:
Passively enhances your hero with lightning pulses. Whenever it gets attacked there is a chance to trigger electricy pulses that deals damage on concact with an enemy.

Jade Shield:
Renders 3 Jade Crystals, rotating around the caster. Each crystals deals damage upon contact with an enemy unit and vanishes.

Berserk Rage:
Pitlord goes into a huge rage, running towards the target location, knocking everything unit away in it's way. Deals damage per hit.

Thanks to all who wrote me PMs and gave me feedback. I decided to repack the whole script to make the spells faster and better.
Soon I will add new spells to this spellpack. Your feedback is wanted please give me ideas so that I can go on making a good spellpack.

Are you using the latest Jass New Gen Pack ?

If not, you better get it or post your map here, so we can check what you did wrong.

Well it's needed to save datas. Also its pretty easy. Just look at the video tutorial. I needed lesser then 5 mins to import the spell. And it was really just easy copy + paste. But when that is to hard for you its your problem.

Yes some spells are similar to some D2 spells. But I think they arent exactly the same.

Guys, before posting non-sense, please make sure you read all stuff Hanky wrote, including his Spell Import Tutorial. All his Spell templates require his cache system + the main functions.

These spells are written in vJASS, means GUI user won't have any clue what they actually change @ Judash137.

But there's already a configuration part for users, which can easily been changed.

What you are talking about. The spells are made with triggers xD. Man when you mean I should make it in GUI then I just can say "no".

THIs is the EX: when you use Shield system(or other jass spell with jass map scrip) and this spell together in one map, this will be a big propblem, That is reason you should do it with trigger only

Why you dont do it in trigger only, it will easy to import and no error so it will easy to change to every map maker( including people who dont know Jass )

You can open it with the normal editor or with the jassgennewpack. Just to test the spellpack, drop the map in your mapfolder of warcraft 3.

Update! I added now a constant to critical jump with that you can set the caster paused or unpaused. Also I added a new Index system what is faster and easier to config. Well 'njoy.

Well you also can set it on your own. (but I will add with the next version a constant) In the function call LaunchMissileAtPointEx(dat.caster,x,y,0.,CJ_MaxFlyHeight(distance),lx,ly,JumpSpeed,false) just change the false to true it should look then like call LaunchMissileAtPointEx(dat.caster,x,y,0.,CJ_MaxFlyHeight(distance),lx,ly,JumpSpeed,true) and voila your unit wont attack in the fly other units.

but i also wanted to tell you 1 bugg i found:
when you use critical jump he doesnt fly exactly to that point you click because he tries to attack nearby units.
I think just pausing the casting unit would prevent that bugg.

I tested it now several times where ever I used berserk rage the buff was removed everytime also when I stand directly before a object. And now I explain that with the cooldown. Ok set all cd's of the spells for example to 10 you will see the cd of every level of the spell berserk rage work, just you must notice that the cd begins after you have casted and not after the spell is finished.

10/10 on the spellpack it's awesome :D

but i have found one problem with critical jump:
in your spellpack you've given it a cooldown of 0 seconds so it might go unnoticed.. but if you use this spell in your own map and increase this cooldown, it just ignores the cooldown... this is a bit of a problem as a spell with no cooldown is kind of unbalanced.
Think you can fix this? then i give the spellpack 11/10 ^^

EDIT: the comment below about berserk rage - he means sometimes when casting berserk rage (including at level 1 i've found) it sometimes does not remove the buff when the spell has finished - this then prevents future casting of the spell (until you die and respawn).

Ok, I took a look, they are very nice :)

I didn't really study your code too much, I am rather weak when it comes to reading vJASS (all those periods get rather demoralizing)

But what I can see from the actual effects, Good Job :)

Oh yeah, on a side note I do believe they are different enough

I really liked your jade spell, although it is one of those spells that are done often

Your berserk rage spell is a little bugged though, when you level it, the cooldown does not refresh properly (I didn't really review the code, so I don't know exactly why, but it happened when I was playing with it)

Although level 1 refreshes properly

Thanks! Well I think its not so important that the concept of spells are the same its just important that you wrote it your own. For example the Jade Shield is a remake from a old spell which I made with my OrkOfMordor account at wc3search.ch!

Woah, 15 spells is a decent number, my own spellpack will have 15, and I've been working on it for almost 3 months... ><

Update - Just noticed your 14th spell is 'Holy Shock', I made something similar, I hope to god not too similar, because that is my favorite of my finished spells, and I'd be rather pissy if I needed to remove it

Well, you can easily adjust the jumpheight of "critical jump" ;) - The spells in the spellpack are just examples of how they can be used.

I have follow the tutorial from the page than Hanky provides to me but still I have a Problem, the vJass helper (or something like this) tells me that an error has found:

What is this?.... its on all the spells.....

If you got problems with import read there: "http://ngo.clan.su/forum/7-12-1" If you got problems with storage just use the other storage system (which is in the map). If you got other problems ask in the forum.

yea it could be fixed ... i just thought its kewler when you can control how your unit jump and I think with the fix in verison 1.2a the blood run is bug free ...

may i ask if there is a way to fix so u can't use blood run across ledges and also when u use critical jump and the caster is being attacked he will start to jump but then turn towards the attacking unit to attack it. can this be fixed ?

Well it seems you dont imported the mainscript. But well with the next update I will add a tutorial how to import correctly spells from my spellpack ;).

Very cool spells.

I wish I could use them in my own map.:(
Tried some things but I get errors everytime, even if I don't even change a thing.

Here's an example: Boomerang.

Error: Unable to find the struct/interface MotionLoop.
That's from this line: struct Boomerang___BoomerangDatas extends MotionLoop


But still a very good spellpack.
The spells are Original and leakless.

Wermmm ... you could've just updated the old pack .... Double post is just against rules (although i am not sure if this counts) and besides, there will be 2 versions of your spell pack - the new one, and the bugged old one =S

You should eliminate the old one.

Man Im OrkOfMordor maybe you should look at first at the script before talking trash, the headline of every spell is: "<Spellname> by OrkOfMordor aka Hanky aka MDZ-OrkOfMordor" I repacked the whole spellpack to make it faster and better. Also I cleared up all known bugs. And because I repacked the whole script of the spellpack I though "Hey wouldn't it be kewl to repost it".

I am the first person downloading this map and I can't help making a question:
- WHY are you copying a spell pack made by Orc of Mordor
-WHY are you posting it, when you didn't even mention Orc of mordor in the credits ....

Unless you ARE Orc of Mordor, you should be shamed of stealing from such a coder.

On the other hand, if you are in deed Orc of mordor, than I can't wait to see this new spell pack of yours =)
