Hi!

Okay, so when I start Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne and click on LAN(Local Area Network) a little pop up window pops up with the text message "Could not connect to the network."

I've using Windows Vista Home Premium. I've been playing Wc3 Tft for a long time with the LAN and It have worked fine until I tried it again today.

It would be great if someone could post the most common problems which causes the error.

Thanks In Advance!

The Firewall is off. On the other hand, that won't make a difference because you should still be able to get into the LAN Section, even though the firewall is on.

Not necessarily. Some firewalls like Norton Internet Security (which I don't recommend having, by the way) will block certain programs from accessing even the local area network. You should ensure that both Windows Firewall as well as any other security software is disabled, at least temporarily, and see if that solves the problem.
