Some screens of my in-the-making Arena Map. It's intended to look like an arena, hence the Blizz cliffs.

Feedback will be appreciated :)

Those doodad clumps don't make any sense. :p A cactus, sea plants, spring flowers, blue mushrooms and a fisure all with in 2 meters of each other?

Overall Look:

That's better than most terrains we see on Battle.net.

Hints:

1)As Huurka pointed, its really flat. You could use a larger brush to raise the land near the coral and the trees stuff.
2)How about making some spots of deep water? It might look nice!
3)Hey, you need more life in that terrain. You need more shrubs, seaweed, rocks, birds and other stuff. That could also make the scenario more interactive and interesting!
4)Nice work with the walls and the waterfalls. You know what could look cool there? Some pillars, maybe...
5)In the words of the wise Nudl9, "I like pie".
6)As Troubador noticed, you should remove the cactus from thos doodads spots.

I hope I helped,

-\Naze

Looks pretty nice. It's a bit flat and plain, I'd add a little more height variation and some plants and rocks.

Hmm, those sand tiles really clash with the Northrend cliff tiles that you've use, that's about the only thing that i can point that havent been pointed out before. But this is good for a B.net terrain +rep

Aye.

(changed the tileset to sunken ruins, as seen in my first post. Also, 2 all-new pics! (I forgot to set the graphics settings to High on 1-2 of them though))

I must agree with i_brg_doom and others that agree with what he said. Terrain is very important in a map. Actualy in most maps the first thing I look at is if the terrain is any good.
You need eyecandy u know.

Your map needs something though, doodads IN the water perhaps?
You could like add seaweed or something like that.
You should also spread the doodads a bit. Don't make clumbs of doodads here and no doodads there.
That's all I am missing.
