Alright, so im making this altered melee map, and all the start locations are on these "hill fortresses". basically a huge hill/mountain with alot of space on top to build. I didnt want anyone to get up the fortresses except thru the paths, so i put pathing blockers all around it and stuff. I also had to have trees as a resource right? so i also added trees. now, it seems like i had reached the maximum number of destructibles/trees. i still need to make 2 1/2 hill fortress (6 players). Do i just keep on adding the pathing blockers/trees and ignore the messages, or do i just stop?

You can use triggers to spawn destructables without a minimap icon if you really need more and thus can save a lot of memory by only spawning destructables when needed if you map can support that.

Also for generic forests and such, trigger spawning can help and if done right, can be blended ingame absolutly flawlessly with no lag even.

NewGen World Editor allows you to load maps from normal WE but also adds additional support to them, thus they might not be savable if you return back to normal WE. A new gen world editor map will always be saveable in the lattest version of new gen world editor as long as it is not protected.

When you open the object manager it tells you what's the maximum number of preplaced doodads and items.
The thing is. On my map I can place a max number of 6144 trees and destructibles AND an additional 8192 other types of doodads maximum. (I think for all other maps too, but I'm too lazy to check, maybe it depends on the size of your map)
