I would say you need to add a bit more tile variation, especially for the dirt part. Also I don't like the look of the trees. They look way to small, so I would increase the scale of them a bit, because they look way to small at the moment. Apart from that its good.

It's pretty good for a first terrain. But as most people usually say, don't use blizzard trees. They're ugly.
If you know how to import, please replace those trees with some better looking ones. And there's way too much cattail around the trees. Replace them with shrubs instead. And as Bob27 said, a little more tile variation.

I'll suggest you to see how the other guys do their terrain. And pay attention to these things:
1)The way they place the trees, doodads and units;
2)The fog;
3)The use of the heigh tool;
"Where did they found those models?!?" you may ask. Thery find those models at the Ultimate Terraining Map (UTM), and you can download it here.

Certainly they rarely fit but on some occasions they can be snuck into there. I would try to keep away from them, though, as much as possible. Use the Pine (Summer) doodad under Environment for a clean nice replacement for the Village Tree Wall or Lordaeron Summer Tree Wall.
