when this is made as a custom spell why does it not work? is there something about this spell that only works if its the actual default normal spell?

How did you modify it? Some aspects of it are hard-coded and can't be changed.

i pretty much just copy pasted the spell then changed the aoe its allowed and maybe the % damage thats shared between the units. i dont even think its that though, i feel like this is just 1 spell that cant be copied and only works as the original spell blizzard put in. no idea why though

i tried making it a custom hero ability 1 time too and that didnt work as well.
