Changing Race Sounds via triggers

Not sure if this is even possible, but I'd like to ask just in case. :peasant-thumbs-up:


At the moment, all of the Players in my map start with default Night Elf Race. This is being setup from Scenario Properties - Players - Race).

The thing I'm looking for to modify via triggers is to either:

A) Change Race and therefore all the Racial sounds (UI does not need to be updated)
B) Not to change Race but only the Racial sounds locally for specific player (example: Player 1 called ''Timmy'' is playing as Night Elf but is hearing Undead Race sounds such as; narrator, units being under attack when not looking, sound for finishing upgrading buildings, low / high food economy, etc).

I wish I did, it would be very useful for certain stuff.
I honestly think it's not possible but don't take my word for granted.

Eh, I think you may be right, seems very game bound from what I can tell.

But wouldn't a function like this be cool though

  • Change Human Default Sounds (Human Race) to Night Elf Default Sounds (Night Elf Race)
