Warcraft 3 Classic HD

Warcraft 3 Classic HD isn't just another graphic mod. It's a faithful recreation of Warcraft 3 in higher definition, true to the original art direction and compatible with pre-Reforged versions of the game, as well as custom maps and assets.

You should talk to some of the users on Discord as i believe alot of them have been recreating and revamping the icons of Warcraft 3 to be better polished than the original and i feel like they would be a great help in you with this project. Just throwing it out there.. But looking forward to how things turn out.

Recently I joined the project in order to help with polishing buildings and their animations, also I will provide a big range of units with bugless skeletons, clean sanity, merged portraits and additional animations. Units and buildings is our priority, and we're not looking towards icons right now because we think that they are still quite fitting as well as UI.

Maybe later, when we have more content set and done, we'll look from distance on that and find the things we'd like to improve, like icons. However, we think that it will be quite easy to enlarge them with AI tools and squeze back to 64x64 to get a quick improvement. But we always want to save as much original warcraft feel as possible when working on improving the quality.

What Villagerino said ^
Beside that, actively looking for people and interviewing them is rather time consuming, actually. We would rather spend this time creating content, and not polishing stuff that actually looks quite decent as it is, like icons or UI. If someone gets interested in lending their hand, it's not hard to reach out. @Elf Knight- already did, for example - but they don't have enough free time to join yet, as I understood.
