The Forgotten Kingdom

A "what if" custom campaign: the Burning Legion never reached Kalimdor during the Third War. This story is inspired by the Dire Maul dungeon, but it does not aim to recreate or be faithful to the original lore. The goal is to use this canonical event as a foundation for telling its own story.

Chapter Four: Warsong! - Now Available

  • I think this is the first hard-ish chapter, took me 1h3m to finish (without drinking the demon's blood)
  • Normally, when you use abilities on enemies they come towards you, but here, sometimes when I use chain lightning, enemies moves away
  • I think the elven hero will be among the last bosses, maybe even the last boss
  • So far 2 legendary items, I wonder what items there will be in the future and what characters I will interact with
  • Cant wait to play the next chapter!

Yes, this chapter does increase the difficulty a bit, although due to the gameplay style, it all depends on how strong the hero is. If the player did everything in the previous chapters, Grom is almost invincible at this point. Regarding the enemies sometimes fleeing, it's a bug in the aggro system we implemented; we'll fix it in the future.

I was worried about potential bugs in the puzzles, and well, if you were able to complete it, it means they work correctly. That's a relief because in this type of system it's very easy to miss something. Similarly, the system for upgrading, combining, and fusing items has also turned out to be quite tedious, but if you have both legendary items, it means it works.

Regarding the next chapter, I'll upload it along with an interlude (between chapters 4 and 5). As a preview, I can tell you that chapter 5 will be the first in which we control another hero, which we hope will add variety to the game and offer something different to the gameplay. Although we're not going to leave Grommash behind, he's the protagonist and we'll be playing him again very soon.
 
When the campaign launches in full, I'll have more playthroughs and try different combinations, now currently I have put all the points in damage having over 100
Don't worry, the puzzles were ok (I liked that poem thing)
Will the other characters have different passives? (Grom has Vigor for example)
