Blight generated when units walks around

Try a periodic trigger (say every 0.5-1 seconds) that creates blight under the unit. For many units you can use a group and for a dynamic unit a single unit variable. Do remember to remove locations that are created as otherwise they will leak.

As far as I know the standard blight abilities used by structures do not update with unit movement so are not a viable solution.
