I love Dark and Light colors and pretty ones.
But i usally Match Red and Black + White
 
We've assigned our favorite colors to:

Light Blue-P
Blue -P
White -G
Brown -G

Can't really explain why, it just is. :)
 
With 2 colours, you can tell a person's personality. Everyone has their favourite 2, and white grey and black ARE colours. I personally like red and black, red is a wild, fiery and brave colour whereas black is a mystery, hidden, wonderous and dark colour. Which means, my personality is wild and mysterious, never know what im gonna do. :)

It was explained earlier, I believe.. anyhow, it evolves around the definitions. Black absorbs all colour, ie it is all colours. White reflects all colour, ie it is all colours as well.
 
You still describe items with these attributes like you would with normal colours, ie a black cat, a white cat, a yellow cat. They are considered colours.
 
I'm pretty sure black is more popular than any other because people want to show others they are emo and such.
I, however, like green. It is the color of life and health, but if I am in a bad mood it is the color of sickness and plague, which leads to death. Such versitality in a single idea (because colors don't really exist) is what attracts me. And it looks nice.

You don't have to write American English just 'cause you're not British. I prefer British English over American English any day, and no, I'm not British, though the UK bloody well is closer than the US.

Why couldn't you do just the six big ones, plus a few other popular ones? Not to mention that you have a lot of shades of blue/green, but not many of red or yellow. Also, why do I need a reason to like the colours I like? Why do I need some sort of big reason to like something? I like them just because.

It's obvious that colour and color are the same thing, so why bother saying anything about it? Just because the U in Colour isn't necessary doesn't mean that you need to start a whole argument over it. And no, British English is not superior

Kidding right? Black and White are universal colors, they can match up with any color in the universe and still look good :P that being said Black and Red go together, and Yellow and Red go together as they're on the same side of the spectrum :P
