well.. yea new updates sometimes u get from Bnet... yet none that adds any news triggers(atleast i tihnk)

Connect do Battle.net, if there is new update available, Warcraft will start downloading it via Bnet.

Yes, they provide new actions etc. Full list of all stuff added/modified is found in change log...

Yes. Some of the patches did make changes to the world editor. This includes new trigger actions and other features.

For example, new patches abled us to create lightning effects, create multiboards etc., and these features were not available in box version (in my country box version was 1.07).
