You could optimize it, or cut down on your use of large sound files / custom models / custom skins / custom icons.

Like above post said, Vexorian's Optimizer.

Basically, just check all the settings and set buffer to auto, make sure you make a path to your war3patch mpq.

Also, make sure you make and keep a back up of that map, as optimizing causes it so you can no longer open the map.

As they said optimize it, use the MDX Squisher, BLPalettor for BLPs, and if you want to go further either use Widgetizer, which makes the map load faster, or another Optimizer that can be used along with Vex's, although I haven't had the chance to try this one out yet. Although make sure you read the recommended settings for each one, as there might be a way to mess your map up.

Also if one of the links don't work, the tools I listed are all on www.wc3campaigns.net

If you lock the map using Heavy Lock 2.7, it usually shrinks by 20%, so it would be enough for you. (unless you want the map to be open-source)

That's really about it. Either use fewer of them, or optimize it. There's no problem with optimizing a map; just make sure you save a backup. You can also squish down models and skins before you import them. No one wants to play a map they have to wait 1000 years to download, anyway.
