Items without death animation

Hello once again...

There are some items that does not have their death animation.
That's no problem when its a normal item. However if it is used automatically when acquired, they need to have a death animation, or else they will stay there forever, unclickable.

Is there a way to solve this by triggers, JASS or something else?
I don't want to edit the model since I can't get in touch with its creator x.x

I think removing the item from the game when used should work.
Just add that to the trigger which uses it when aquired.

All dead objects stay in game: items, units, and etc., nevermind if you see them or not. Try to remove item after it's "death".

Aren't units removed from the game after they decay?

I tried removing it and I got a game crash =/
Seems like the items does not exist anymore after its acquired, as it's immediately used.

Make item not immediately used. When hero aquaires item, create a dummy unit, cast spell on hero, then remove item from hero and remove dummy.

This way the hero will need at least one empty slot in his inventory. This would be the best solution but, if possible, I'd like to avoid that...
