No but this idea is just not right - it'll not only encourage users to post but always result attempts to try to get a post and turn them to people they are not...

Unfortunatley this would make people spam to get higher post counts :? and no, we dont want any more 1400 post Sophos :roll:

I like the idea, but like everyone else has said, that would encourage people to answer questions wehn they have already been answered (like Sopho) and - maybe - spam.

It will encourge to people to post more (they may not stop and do what they want to get their avatar)

At least someone voted lol.. and yea i was thinkin about that.. it is a good idea.. if people wouldnt uber spam.. that would be a great idea.

I haven't really noticed any differnce in the level of spam with the introduction of ranks in other forums. Some people will always find a reason for spamming. It might give a slight increase in spam.

Personally I don't care either way.

Hmm Jeltz got a point.. im on a forum with rankings.. no one spams at all..
