Rage Againts The Programs

The application files I transfered from my old PC (XP Professional) crashes my new pc (Vista Home Premium)

It kills all current running applications and one turns to black then opens switch user page

Turning on User Acount Control and doing some stuff fixes this problem but I dont want UAC on

Any way to make them comptible with Vista ? (comptibility thing doesnt work)

EDIT: Or nvm I want XP can I install XP on it ?

Did you try running it in compatibility mode? That's about your best shot really, use XP SP2 compatiblity. Right click on the thing, hit properties, and then you'll see the tab.

Well, you're just shit out of luck. That's why you don't use Vista.

Well as i heared it's possible to downgrade back to xp (which is, to be honest the ONLY solution) but if the laptop/pc is built for vista, you will have to accept certain limitations.
Just save all valueable data, format and install xp.. but before, make sure that there are ALL needed drivers available for xp
