Help With the Editor Please =D

I have been working on my lotr map for a long looooooong loooooooong time. The reason it is taking so long is because it takes about 6 seconds after each name edit to resume being used. I remember awhile back there was some sort of tweak that stopped this temporary "freeze" like turning off an option in the editor or something. I am trying to color every single units name, and my progress is being seriously impaired by the pause... If you can help it would be appreciated.

btw I use the official editor

Disable the brush list.

That sounds familiar, but how would I go about doing that?

In the editor:
Window -> Brush List

its somewhere in view
