got any tips?

I was messing around on my comp and i found somethings:
mp3maker
and a sound recorder

I was wondering if any of you have any tips for making+mixing sounds becuse i would like to get into sound making. with those two porgrams i can do a lot of things like sound mixing and even taking parts out of sounds.
any tips?

Well, a good tip would be to 'buy' a BETTER program like Fruity Loops Studio 7.
