ive downloaded the oinkerwinkele tools but i cant seem to get them to work. everytime i run the programs it says error COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered. please post any solutions you have because i really want to use the oinkerwinkle tools. :( :(

When programmers create there programs they often use packaged libraries to speed the process and keep things looking uniform. Oinkerwinkle's tools require you to have such libraries installed to function properly. I'm not 100% sure which ones your missing, but likely if your running Windows 98 or maybe even an older version of 2000 you should look for Visual Basic Runtime Libraries.

Try these...

Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime Libraries
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/install/6/win98me/en-us/vbrun60.exe

OR

Visual Basic 5.0 Runtime Libraries
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb50pro/utility/1/win98/en-us/msvbvm50.exe

If those don't do it, perhaps your in need of a .NET update to solve a Library conflict or something else MS has missed, like so...

.NET Framework Version 1.1
http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/a/c/aac39226-8825-44ce-90e3-bf8203e74006/dotnetfx.exe

.NET Framework Version 2.0
http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/6/7/567758a3-759e-473e-bf8f-52154438565a/dotnetfx.exe

If this is confusing then you probably shouldn't be messing with the system in the first place, call a geek or a pro to help out.

Cheers
