BIG EDIT: Here is a better example to explain my aurgument.
Look at these 2 sphere primitives notice they look almost exactly the same.
Now look at the same spheres with edged faces on.
See even though the topoligy is diffren't there is hardly any diffrence in the model and I probaly if I adjusted amount of faces enough make them EXACTLY alike. Now I'm not going to say which sphere is wrong topoligy becuase one is a geosphere and the other is a regular sphere im just using them as a example on how topoligy dosen't matter when your just showing something off. Remeber what you don't see won't hurt yea.
Not exactly Xlightscreen, if you cant do good topology, then its obvious your(not referring to you) not ready for many things. Plus, a good topology is much nicer to work worth. Im very sure TDR would have a say..
dam, there is alot of polies(low poly image)....shouldnt have to have that much in the legs and feet.
well TDR also is very personlized on his views on how things should be modeled as well as any other modeler. Now im not saying you shoulden't care about topoligy but like my example above you obvisly coulden't tell the the topoligy was wrong or diffrent in those spheres without the edged faces on(even though you can becuase I didn't fine adjust them).
Now as for his turtle being wrong looking at the low poly version his leg yea the topoligy is horrible and if he where to put this in a game or animate it at all I highly recommend he fix it. But obvisly I can tell he just used a optimize modifier on them .
I just wanted to add that I made foot and then smoothed it 2 times and used noise tool , so there is not a low poly foot on the low poly image , my mistake sry . But rest of the model is in its basic form on the low poly image .
The tail needs to be more pointy. . .
Trust me I used to have 4 turtles.
Otherwise it looks ok.
And if you plan to use it in wc3 you will need to drop the number of polies to about 100-150 since this will probably be used as a critter but if you want it for a game like oblivion (elder scroles) or any other first person game then you need to do minimal optimizing.
