I just made my first skin today (not much, just for fun ) I used wc3 viewer and gimp. I made it into a blp and imported it. I copied the path in but its not working. It works for the icon but on the model it uses the old skin. Is there something I have to do to like make it cover the model?

i read the skin importing tutorial but it didn't help

If you name your custom skin the exact file name of a default Warcraft III texture, then import it into your map using its default file path it should work just fine.

For example, if you wish to apply the custom skin to a paladin model you would name and path it as:

units\Human\HeroPaladin\Heropaladin.blp

ya i did that, just like that i copied that into the thing and put units\human\Militia\Militia.blp

@ 2seksi: it's militia

Yay! it works thank you +rep

I just wanna know though, was it not working because of caps? or because of wrong name? Or both?
