If you've attached that exact file somewhere else, it won't upload it.

nope. sometimes when i upload somthing in a thread for like contests (never attached elsewere) it just says its uploading but never does.. the file size isnt more than 5mb.

It seems to me that you just have a lack of patience.

i uploaded, waited for like 10 minutes, then thought, wow this takes long... so i went away from my computer like the whole day, came back like 10 hours later and it still was "uploading" for like a 1.5mb attachement. then i try the next day and it takes like 5 seconds to upload..

Your connection probably reset while you were trying to upload it, or something.

36 seconds to upload Villager Life. My parents have downloads on and I was messing around on Halo 3.

like a week ago now it used to come upt like once every day and i just had to wait for like 30 minutes.

Sometimes (for a variety of reasons) short-term interruptions DO occur.

If you get caught during an attachment upload, simply discontinue it, then try again a few minutes later. Unless there is a conflict or bug on a user's end of the connection, attachment uploads should proceed apace when the server is operating smoothly.

I usually get the Server too busy. Please try again later. Maybe it's because of so many junk accounts? Maybe Global Mods and higher should go about deleting account that are more than a month old and have 0-10 posts or users that were last active say 10 months ago?

Well I can never upload, or attach anything, but thats proapbly because of IE

... just don't get it guys. Using two computers and several different browsers including FF, IE, Netscape and Opera (among others) my connection has never experienced an upload failure: not once, ever. Short term delays, yes; outright failures, no.

Once again it's my recommendation that everyone ensure that their local hardware (computer/modem/router) and software (operating system and web browsers) are properly configured.

Well something about what you say, as all other pc I can attach find from, but my own I can't. But well dunno how to fix it, as it worked for a year or so ago.
