map size question

does the size of the map affect the loading time? if i add a 3mb mp3 file on the map does it affect loading time?

If you are creating a multiplayer game, it is best not to add music to your map. It does affect the loading time and the download time; if it's high enough, people will quit because they have a crappy computer. Additionally, you will only have 1MB left before you reach the map size limit. If you are making a single player map, adding an mp3 should be fine.

If you really want to include music so reduce its quality and set it to mono sound.
