I have come into contact with a few of the skins from the Family/Friends alpha mpq. I'm only going to post two pics though, which is both telling, exciting, and depressing. Please note that this pic does give away at least some of the story of Warcraft. This is your spoiler alert. Now, brace yourself:

And the news isn't that it HAS a skin, it's that the skin is OUT.
 
Well of course Arthas needs a freaking model for his weapon! Doesn't mean we will be using it. It just would not make sense for the player to take the Frostmourne, I mean that would turn him undead and if he did not willingly serve the Lich King, the Lich King would just turn him into a mindless slave (this is official lore).
 
Yeah, because WoW has fallowed the official lore this whole time hasn't it. =P

Plus through modding people will get it, if it's an official item or not.
 
I think that Frostmourne will only be equipable by the Deathknight class, Arthas' class ^^
 
yeh going back to warglaive, there are at least 2 models/skins of it because i have one where they are orange and a totally different shape which is found in the patch just before the BT patch (2.2 or 2.1?) so it may be possible that they will change the model/skin of frostmourn again before its released..
 
There was a few glaves, all of which were in WoW since beta, they just made new ones (the ones players can get) for the BT patch.
 
Wow... the SKIN is out... yey, a fucking SWORD. I don't get all the rave about ANOTHER WoW expansion, let alone one single skin from it, which we don't even get to see.

I think that everyone will be just as disappointed with WLK as they were with TBC. I remember logging on a few weeks after it came out, one little nerdbag who rushed to 70 was running around shattrath crying his eyes out because the hammer models looked retarded.

In fact, I don't see why people bother with WoW. But we shouldn't get into this argument, it will just start MORE flaming.

Edit: There are also a few illegal private servers out there that run a leaked version of the alpha client. It's very buggy and doesn't work too well, like you sometimes fall through the ground, but you can still see the terrain and stuff. A few words-- It's better than the other stuff, but it sucks. That's just so you don't go and check it out thinking it's OK because I did it, I don't want to get banned, I am simply stating the facts.

Vrykul were the titans first attempt at a functional human-type race, they soon went into some sort of hybernation under the Earth, but they have returned.
Arthas' face is like.. shrunken. Anyways, how did you get into the server?

The Fel Bat model is called FlyingNerubian.m2

The Dryad is a Frost Nymph.

And there is another Fjord Giant but it is a lot bigger and icy.

Also this is a Proto Dragon

I'll agree to that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't doubt players get Frostmourne. Why? Well... why would they make the blade and character 2 different models unless they want something else to hold it? Why not just attach the sword to Arthas' hand?

What are you talking about? They did that a long time ago. Right about the time when they introduced Instances and Raids, which was infact at the release of the game. So let me refraise.. World of Warcraft is not Warcraft lore-wise.
 
Heh I wouldnt doubt that we would get the Sword. People were like "you cant get the sword because it would eat your soul and become evil". Well, that would be true under normal circumstances. However, think about where you got that sword from. Arthas is imbued with the soul of the Lich King. So when you kill him it should either
A. Forever Banish the evil soul to the Twisting Nether
B. Destroy the soul

If there is no lich king, it is no longer an evil-soul sucking sword. All thats left is a really cool sword design that they will proabably have a Lifesteal effect attached to it. Think about it ^_^

You can find posts on THIS forum of people saying theres no way people would give us Azzinoth. And look what happened. We'll just wait and see.
 
Well.. Frostmourne should be Death Knight only in my opinnion. Makes the most sense for Death Knights to only use it.

And the mini-drake thingy will prolly be in Collector's edition <.<
 
I have my hopes that Arthas isnt killed, atleast not in a raid, and that Frostmourne is NOT used by players.

I would really liek to see Illidan restored to what he was BEFORE TBC... like.. NOT evil, and pretty cool... I hate him now...

The raid on Arthas should def end with Illidan showing up, pissed as can be, fighting the raid (Thats the boss), and then a cinematic with Kil'Jeaden and Arthas fighting, and then destroying eachother or something.

Oh well.... WotLK look slike it will be a little better lore and story wise than TBC was, but i doubt it will be enough to make me happy..
