Don't think there needs to be a source for this. Honestly, bunch of thieves to me -- I've seen theories though that the reason is because of 'gangsta' culture, lack of representation and a climate where people of the lower class can't climb up.

Yep, some group of thieves starts a riot, wrecking havoc and stealing what they can, then some other people do the same, and then more and more people lusting for things that can't afford but can steal join in...

Still Madrid's protests are more reasonable as some guy whom all brainwashed bow before, as if he's really a replacement of God on Earth, just a big joke as the whole religion forced by The Church, and using that money on his visitation... Anyway the English protest were related to some immigrants I heard.
The riots began when a criminal who happened to be a father was shot by the police when he was arrested, then more people joined in the riots because of the thrill/greed.

Let's shoot our own citizens, that will stop the riots. Good thinking, pretty sure people would have a reason for rioting then.

Protesting is one thing, random riots of gangs that do nothing except looting, robbing and attempted (and sometimes successful) murder for fun is a death penalty in my book.

When there are such large crowds, how will you check which one is a hardcore murdered, a young thief and which one is a random protester? Not like you would genocidize them all at same time...
