Is there anyway to roll a unit 90 degrees in a direction and then keep it there? If there are specific conditions to do this, i.e. it has to be flying or you have to validate it somehow then that's perfectly fine, but is there at least one possible scenario were it's possible, and if so, are you aware of how?

Yeah I thought about that possibility originally, but you can alter the yaw/pitch of a model very easily in-game, it seems silly that roll is magically held tight in the prison that is one of Phoenix's actors...

TELL me about it! And those Ravens and Scourges taunting us with their careless little air rolls!!
I'm using yaw/pitch at the moment until Blizzard enables the Up vector. Boy is it frustrating. Zerglings trying to spastically run on their backs ain't very scary.
I also wouldn't mind knowing how you get a unit to not reset its vector every time it moves. Probably an actor message/event.
